How do I determine what limits to set in Throttlebox for my site?

First, run a "top 20" report in Throttlebox to see what your users normally use.
The output should be similar to the image below:

Look for users who seem to use much more than everyone else.
This should help you determine what limits to set for your specific site that
would allow the average user to use the site without complications,
and what limits would catch and suspend abusive users.

Note: We just used generic values for our image above, so they
should not be used in determining what values you should
set on your site. The idea is to look at YOUR report to see what YOUR users normally use on YOUR site.

If your graph looks like this, one of the limits may be set too low for your site:

In the image above, MANY users were blocked. That may include legitimate users. Check the detailed
reports for those users to see which rule was stopping them and consider increasing the limits in that rule.
